Update on today's post
I went back to Stevenage town after seeing Chris and this girl, and started to cry. Chris had twigged all day what I was feeling and we had a talk about it. I told him that it felt strange to see him with Carrie.He had known that that was worrying me as I started to think of all the funny things me and Chris had done.
He talked to me in town and being the nicest person he is said it doesn't change how I feel about him.
He also said I was like a sister to him and family comes first for him, and that I am understanding more than people think and that I see people who are close to me rather than people who are far away.
I still love him and hope one day that he will think about me being even more than friends but as a boyfriend.
Special people are hard to come by bloggers, but when you find them keep them close to your heart.

Unfortunately when it comes to romance, we have to let our friends make their own mistakes and be there for them when they slip up.
Chris is very lucky to have a friend who cares so much about him. :-)

If it happens then that would be wonderful but don't pressure him. Sounds like you have a great friendship and it would be a shame to risk ruining it. Be there for him and maybe someday it will just happen, but don't spend all your time waiting either! Go ahead and date too (plus people who are attached always seem more desirable), so have fun and don't worry :)

wise words from gimpy mumpy, it seems that you have been in a similar situation yourself at some point in your life. My advice is similar, if it happens it happens, and if it does'nt don't sit and worry about it, go out and have fun... you're only young once!!!

Thanks CDW, you are a huge comfort to me, and you have a great idea of what's right in the world and life, I have learnt a lot from you and hope that in the future I will reward you in a big way.
If anything happens, I will be there for you even if you get upset that nothing has worked for you.
Your personality and character have shined through the bad times you have told me about and you deserve to be rewarded by me somehow for being a great friend, brother, and spiritual guide.
